                      Moving Tips From The Experts

  • Truck Size

When reserving a Rental Truck, be sure to get the appropriate for your move. Making more than one trip can end up being pretty expensive. So make sure that you are getting a big enough truck for all of your belongings, and this will help out your moving expenses tremendously!

  • Supplies

You are always better off "safe than sorry". To be safe, let's make sure you have everything that you may possibly need to ensure this moving experience will be easier than the last. Things like boxes, tape, dollies, furniture pads(blankets), door-stoppers, rope, straps, and bubble wrap are all things that will make your move go safely, quickly, and carefully!

  • Be Organized

This is a tip that we feel is most important. An organized customer is always a "money-saving customer". The little things that a customer does to prep for the movers can sometimes be the biggest help in the long run.

Things like...

1. Labeling your boxes according to what room they will go into at the final destination is a major help! It always reduces the amount of time your move will take. Also be sure to write "Fragile" on any boxes that may contain breakable items. Be sure ALL boxes are closed and sealed shut with tape, so the movers can stack them and pack them with ease.

2. Make sure to pack any "loose items" and "breakables" into boxes. Movers will typically not pick up any small "odds and ends" for you. These items should be packed up. If these items can all be boxed up and ready to go, you will save a lot of time.

3. Clear all walkways, doorways, and paths. This also includes snow, mud, and anything that could be in the movers way. A clean and organized work environment is always the best and most efficient way to move. It's also much safer! So just remember, the more organized you are for your move, the more money you will save in the long run!
